a little bit of Doodlebug

I 've been working on getting some of my own layouts done recently.....

......I've managed to fit one in here and there......

This picture was taken on a road trip we took during Spring Break 2011.....

I used papers from an Easter collection by Doodlebug and added chip shapes and buttons by Bella Blvd.

I love how the 2 collections worked together so well.....

Check back tomorrow for another VERY pink layout of Emma when she was just TWO - yes, that was a LONG time ago :))

Happy December 1st

Hey there.....Sorry for the break but I'm on a road trip with my kids !!

First we stopped in Seattle to pick up this little guy ..... Marshall was a BIG surprise for Emma and Alex and boy was he happy to meet his new family :))

Then we kept heading on down to Oregon....Emma is auditing a riding clinic in Wilsonville for the weekend.....

.....and all Alex wants to do is snuggle his new little puppy !!

We even got to have lunch with my friend Summer....She just happens to live 5 minutes from where we are staying !!  She took us to the cutest outdoor shopping area and we had such a nice visit......

......and of course took lots of pictures of the AMAZING Christmas decorations too !!

We've had a fabulous time but can't wait to get home and introduce Marshall to Samson :))

HCC Challenges

happy Monday ladies......I wanted to take a second to remind you that you have 5 days left to submit to the 2nd Hard Core Crop Challenges !!!

I pulled out some of my newest Jilibean Soup product (love it :)) ..... added it to a great piece of Core'dinations pre-embossed cardstock (love it too :)) .....

......embossed TAGS !!!

.....These pre-cut tags are from the David Tutera Celebrate Collection and are perfect for so many things.....

.....i ran all of them through my Big Shot and then sanded off the top to show the flourishes, dots and stars !!!!

.....The sentiment stickers from this collection were the perfect addition to these fun little gift tags :))

REMEMBER: you do NOT have to use the David Tutera product for my challenges......you can use ANY CORE'DINATIONS product to play along !!

I have TWO CHALLENGES for you.....One today and one tomorrow !!

My first challenge for you is to create a coordinating 
GIFT BAG and TAG.....

Everyone always needs a gift bag (or ten :)) during the holidays and a coordinating gift tag so I challenge you to create a set ...... 

i LOVE glitter so I cut up a glitter card from the David Tutera Celebrate collection by Core'dinations, as well as a a beautiful metallic silver base too !! I adhered these to a white lunch bag and added ribbon and a holiday sentiment.  Then I prettied up a David Tutera pre-cut tag and added some ribbon and holiday sentiments to match my bag......Ready to go !!!

I can't wait to see what you create.....I am looking for great use of color and originality and of course Core'dinations Cardstock !!!!

Jillibean Soup Party TONIGHT

Today is the day.....we've been waiting and it's FINALLY here !!

A few weeks back WE got the call that we won a FABULOUS party to help celebrate Jillibean Soup's 4th Birthday and tonight is the night we get to share it with a whole group of lucky crafty girls :))

There will be (4) adorable Make 'n' Takes, SALES, snacks and an INCREDIBLE goodie bag for each of the lucky ladies donated by Jillibean Soup....

Here is the Make 'n' Take i created just for tonight....

It is a sweet little pillow box.  I used American Crafts dark kraft cardstock and ran it through my paper crimper to give it the corrugated look.  Once it was all folded up I added some of my fave American Crafts Premium Ribbon and a tag using Jillibean Soup "Winter Tortellini and Spinach Soup" patterned paper......

There will be photos taken so I'll be sure to share them soon......BUT check back tomorrow for the HARD CORE CROP that I'm participating in with Core'dinations :))
