Easter is around the corner....so I created this !!!
It is being featured over on the Bella Blog today along with some other fun projects too...so have a look here and then head over there and enjoy :))
I had so much fun with this project……I make cupcakes for almost any occasion and expecially for every holiday for the kids classrooms. I've got several types of cupcake carriers but I like the cardboard ones that you can toss away after use.
I went through my decorating stash, dug out a stand and made it my own with some help from Bella :)) I adhered paper to the stand bases as well as all (3) 'plates', sanded the edges and put it all back together.
I used a couple of my favorite Big Shot dies and created all the 'wraps' for the cupcakes and the fence around the bottom using different patterns of paper. Once I had the cupcakes and fencing in place I decorated the rest using cute cuts, stickers and precision cut pieces too !!
I used a strip from the 'borders' paper and precision cut out all the little bunnies and attached them to round toothpicks along with a few stickers to make little flags for the cupcakes – I love how it all came together……..
I hope this inspires you to dig out your own "Spring Flings and Easter Things" and create some fun easter projects for your family too…..Happy Easter !!!
